Name: 30 yr Projected Coastal Erosion Hazard Area

Display Field: CRS_NAME

Type: Feature Layer

Geometry Type: esriGeometryPolygon

Description: For a community to recieve points for CEOS, they must map their "Coastal Erosion Hazard Area." The CRS manual states that this area must estimate where the oceansdie setback may be in 30 years due to coastal erosion. The current setback facotrs (based on 30 years of measured historical erosion data) were doubled to provide a course estimation of where the oceanside setback may be 30 years into the future due to coastal erosion. This dataset is strictly used for communicating potential risks and is not used in the calculation of CEOS points. CEOS points are based on the current setback area.
